I don't know the details but SWANG wrote on another forum that Butch's former bandmate Patrice Choc'let Banks has mentioned the news on her FB page. He was a very nice man. He was very gracious when he signed my RELEASE YOURSELF cd. Robert "Butch" Sam is the third member of GCS to die. Gaylord Burch the third and longest staying drummer and original guitarist David "Dynamite" Vega were the other 2.
