I used to hang out with the Brothers Johnson in
the 70s when Look Out For #1 WAS number one.
I remember George, Louis, their older brother
Tommy was road manager, Ricky Heath on percussion
was great and lots of fun and so was Alex Weir,
who went on to work with Talking Heads.
I have over the years lost contact with all of
them, but we had some fun times going to the
theme parks here in Florida.

Randy,

The Brothers were cool. I jammed a few times with them and hung out with Louis a few times. He loved hanging out at the arcade in Culver City. He used to amuse me with stories. He's on my myspace page but I haven't sent him correpondence in about a year. His nick name is Boot. I was told by others if I could get his foot stomping while jamming then I had him. I what an experience it was reaching that point. What a Groove Monster he is.
